Virtual and Real Shows as 2020 dies away

What a year! Need I say more?

The angel above sold as a 16 x 16" photo encaustic piece to a permanent collection of the Trinity Episcopalian Church in Sacramento, CA. I had hardly entered shows this year but this one asked for angels and I just happened to have one. "Los Angeles del Rio" is part of my series called "Toy Stories." These are composited photo images of figures from the International Folk Art Museum, back yard art and other amusing objects set again Southwest Landscapes. This little angel is a symbol of hope, I hope.

I will happily make prints or similar photo encaustic pieces on request.

My work was also featured in a virtual Art and Music series in Placitas, NM. They did a great job on the virtual show with music written for each artist. The December show can be found at www.placitasartistsseries.org.

In that show, "Eucalyptica" 36 x 48 x 2" Photo Encaustic Tryptych

The entire "Toy Stories" series is on view at the New Mexico Cancer Care center in Albuquerque, NM until mid-February.

In that show, "Of Rabbits and Men" 8 x 8" photo encaustic on cradled panel

Thanks for watching.

Here's wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.
